Problem:
Why is LOW BATT displayed on the base?
Solution:

A 9-volt alkaline battery is required to use some of the features on this phone in the event of a power failure.
You may need to replace the battery.
Make sure the battery is installed correctly.
Do NOT use a rechargeable battery.
