Problem:

How do I block calls?

Solution:

Tip 1 of 1

If you subscribe to Caller ID service, your phone can block calls from up to 20 specific phone numbers. This is called the BLOCK LIST. It can also block any call that does not provide a phone number with the Caller ID. This is called CALLS WITHOUT NUMBERS. In either case, the caller will hear a busy signal, and the call will be disconnected.

To add phone numbers to the BLOCK LIST:
When the phone is idle, press MENU/SELECT.
Press VOLUME▼ until you see Call Block, then press MENU/SELECT.
Block list is displayed. Press MENU/SELECT.
Press VOLUME▼ until you see Add new entry, then press MENU/SELECT.
Enter the complete phone number of the party you wish to block, then press MENU/SELECT.
Enter the name of the party, then press MENU/SELECT.

To activate the CALLS WITHOUT NUMBERS feature:
When the phone is idle, press MENU/SELECT.
Press VOLUME▼ until you see Call Block, then press MENU/SELECT.
Press VOLUME▼ until you see Calls w/o num, then press MENU/SELECT.
Press VOLUME▼ until you see Block, then press MENU/SELECT. All calls without a phone number will be blocked.
