Product Troubleshooting

Problem:

Why doesn’t my telephone ring when I receive calls?

Solution:

Tip 1 of 6

If the phone does not ring at all, you may have the ringer turned off. The handset and base have independent ringer programming.

To adjust the handset or base ringer volume:
Step 1: Press MENU on the when the phone is not in use.

Step 2: Press CID▲ or ▼DIR to display RINGERS, then press SELECT.

Step 3: Ringer volume is highlighted. Press SELECT.

Step 4: Select All Lines; Line 1; Line 2; Cell A; or Cell B; then press SELECT.

Step 5: Press CID▲ or ▼DIR to adjust the ringer volume. A sample of each ringer volume plays as you scroll through the choices. At the lowest setting, the ringer is silent and Ringer muted is displayed.

Step 6: Press SET to confirm your selection.

Step 7: Press and hold OFF/CLEAR (or CANCEL on the base) to return to the idle screen.
