Problem:
How to set the remote access code?
Solution:
Tip 1 of 1
In order to remotely access your voicemail messages on the SYNJ you will need to enter a remote access code. In order to ensure the messages are secure, you may want to change the default code. Use this feature to enter a four-digit number (0000-9999) to allow remote. access to your general mailbox from any touch-tone telephone. Unless you change it, the remote access code is 0000.
1.When the telephone is idle, press MENU/ENTER.
2.Press ▲or▼ to scroll to Mailbox setup. Press MENU/ENTER.
3.Press MENU/ENTER again to select Set access code.
4.Use the dial pad to enter a four-digit number. Use REMOVE to backspace and delete a digit.
5.Press MENU/ENTER to save the setting and return to the previous menu. There is a confirmation tone. To exit without making changes, press EXIT.
NOTES:
The access code must have four digits. (If you would like to set an access code of less than 4 digits ad leading or trailing zeros ex the access code 44 would be 0044.) You will hear an error tone if you enter an access code that is already assigned.
Note:
You may want to reference your product manual.
