Problem:

Why won’t my Answering System record any messages?

Solution:

Tip 1 of 6

Make sure your answering system is On. At the base, press ANSWER ON until you hear Calls will be answered and the button illuminates; OR,

Step 1: Using a system handset when it is not in use, press MENU/SELECT. Press ▼CID until you see >Answering Sys.

Step 2: Press MENU/SELECT again. Press ▲DIR or ▼CID until you see >Answer ON/OFF.

Step 3: Press MENU/SELECT, then press ▲DIR or ▼CID until you see >ON.

Step 4: Press MENU/SELECT. You will hear a confirmation tone.

Step 5: Press and hold OFF to return to the idle screen.
