Product Troubleshooting
Problem:
The battery icon on the handset screen goes away when I take the handset out of its charger. Is there a problem with my phone?
Solution:

If the battery icon goes away when you take the handset out of its charger, yet other information remains on the screen, there is nothing wrong with your phone or battery. If the battery should run low, the icon will reappear in a flashing manner, indicating that you should recharge the handset.
