Problem:

How do I register a new accessory handset to the base?

Solution:

Charge the new handset before attempting registration.

The unregistered handset will display: To register HS...see manual. If you do not see this message, lift the handset from its charger for a few seconds, then place it back in the charger.

Now, place the handset in the Base. The handset will first display Registering, followed by Registered. The newly registered handset will be assigned the lowest extension number not previously assigned to another system handset. If registration is not successful, remove the handset from the base, then repeat the above process.
