Problem:

How do I access my answering system from a remote location?

Solution:

You can access your answering system to retrieve messages and perform other functions from a remote location. Follow these steps:

Step 1: Using a touch tone phone, dial the phone number to which the answering sysytem is attached.

Step 2: When the system answers, enter your two-digit Remote Access Code. Factory preset to 19, you can set the code to any number from 10 to 99. The system announces the number of messages, then begins message playback.

Step 3: Enter a remote command (see Remote Access Commands in your User’s Manual), or wait for the voice menu to guide you.

Step 4: To exit remote operation, press * 9.
