Product Troubleshooting

Problem:

Wky can’t I display dial from the Caller ID call log?

Solution:

Tip 1 of 1

When in the call log:
Step 1: Press ▲ or ▼ to scroll to the number you wish to call.
Step 2: Press # repeatedly to select the desired dialing format.
Step 3: Press ENTER or DISP DIAL to dial the number.

If you dial seven digits to make a local call then you need to program your area code into the telephone as the home area code in order for it to display correctly.

To set the home area code:
Step 1: When the telephone is idle, press MENU.
Step 2: Press ▲ or ▼ to scroll to Call settings. Press ENTER.
Step 3: Press ▲ or ▼ to scroll to Set area code. Press ENTER.
Step 4: Press ▲ or ▼ to scroll to Home area code. Press ENTER.
Step 5: Use the dial pad to enter the 3 digit area code.
Step 6: Press ENTER to save your setting. You will hear a confirmation tone.
Step 7: Press and hold CANCEL to return to the idle screen.

If you must include the area code to dial a local call, and there is more than one area code for your local area, program each of those as a Local area code. Follow the steps above, choosing the Loc area code option. You can program up to 4 local area codes.
